Call Waiting If you're on the phone and you get another call, call waiting allows you to put the first call on hold and pick up the second. Then you can switch back and forth as you please.
Call forwarding Call forwarding allows you to send incoming calls to another number. Believe Voice allows you to forward all calls, calls that come in when you're on the other line, or calls that come in when there's no answer.
Caller ID If you have a phone capable of displaying Caller ID, you'll see the name and number of the person calling you.
Do-Not-Disturb When you active do-not-disturb, all calls to your number will go directly to voice mail.
Voice mail Each residential Believe Voice package includes one voice mailbox, which you can customize with a greeting. We can also set up your voice mail to e-mail you notifications when you have a new message. For business customers with their own VoIP server, each extension you create can have its own voice mailbox.
Interactive Voice Response systems (standalone business packages only) An interactive voice response system, or digital receptionist, allows you to create greetings and prompts that let callers choose certain options by pressing a key on their phone. IVRs can be set up to route callers to different extensions depending on their needs.
Ring Groups (standalone business packages only) Ring groups let you have multiple phones (on your VoIP server or outside of it) ring at the same time or in a specified order. For example, if someone calls a sales number, it can ring to all the salespeople's phones.
Follow-me (standalone business packages only) The follow-me feature is similar to call forwarding, but calls will ring first at your main extension and then at other numbers. For example, you can have calls go first to your desk phone, then to your home phone, then to your cell phone.
On-Hold Music (standalone business packages only It's easy to customize what your callers hear when they're on hold or being transfered between extensions. Recordings can be uploaded to your VoIP server in either .wav or .mp3 format.
